Two jet skiers found 25-year-old Samira Watkins in a duffel bag that had washed up on shore near a naval base in Pensacola. Inside detectives found her body curled up in the fetal position with her head wrapped in multiple layers of duct tape covering her nose. The medical examiner determined her cause of death to be asphyxiation.
The pregnant mother of a 4-year-old boy had gone missing just four days before her body had washed to shore. After speaking with Samira’s family, detectives quickly learned that the father of her unborn child, a married sailor, may have murdered her.
After splitting up with her first son’s father, Samira met the sailor stationed at the base where her body was found. His name, he told her, was Ricky Littleton. A few months later Samira found out she was pregnant.
Soon after finding out she was pregnant, the relationship between Littleton and her started dwindling and Samira quickly learned that he was living a double life. She discovered Ricky was not his real name. His real name was Zachary Littleton and he was married with a child. His wife was also in the military currently station in South Carolina and transferring to Pensacola in less than a week.
On October 29 2009 Littleton called Samira asking if they could talk. She was supposed to go to his apartment after work. She was never seen alive again. The next day some of her family members went to his apartment, but instead of finding Littleton, they found a lady who said he had moved out.
Although Zachary claims he had nothing to do with her murder, he was charged and sentenced to life without the possibility of parole. #explorepage✨ #truecrime #evil #justice #betrayl #dating
