#Kriticizm - A powerful, little-known moment from Tupac Shakur’s life shows him holding a newborn baby—just 18 months before his death. That baby was Imani, daughter of Jamala Lesane, Tupac’s first cousin, who grew up closely connected to him and Afeni Shakur like family.

Imani’s early life wasn’t easy. She was diagnosed with diabetes as a child and had to fight to be heard by doctors who didn’t initially take her symptoms seriously. Even at a young age, she advocated for herself and ultimately got the care she needed.

Though she never got the chance to know Tupac personally, she grew up carrying his legacy through family, memory, and name. Today, she is a chef and nutritionist, running her own kitchen and focusing on health and nourishment for others.

Her mother, Jamala Lesane, has written about their journey, often reflecting on Tupac’s belief that children deserve to be heard and taken seriously. Tupac never had children of his own—but the baby he once held grew up to build a life of her own.
