380 Kilos Found In Tissue Truck

#KRITICIZM - Canadian border officers intercepted a commercial truck carrying 380 kilograms of suspected narcotics at the Coutts port of entry in southern Alberta. Authorities said the July 2, 2026, seizure included approximately 300 kilograms of suspected methamphetamine and 80 kilograms of suspected cocaine. The truck had originated in California and was reportedly traveling to Vilna, Alberta, with its cargo officially declared as bath tissue.

During the inspection, officers reportedly noticed abnormalities within the shipment and conducted a more detailed examination. The concealed packages were discovered inside 12 medium-sized moving boxes, an additional smaller box and a duffle bag. What appeared on the paperwork to be an ordinary commercial delivery instead became a major cross-border seizure involving hundreds of kilograms of suspected illegal substances.

The driver was arrested at the border, although authorities did not identify the individual in the public announcement. The driver and the seized substances were transferred to the RCMP Federal Policing Northwest Region for further investigation. No criminal conviction has been reported, and any allegations connected to the case must still be established through the Canadian court system.
